This is the perfect time of the year to be thinking about healthy recipes, try a new recipe for the holidays that you can taste test with your family and friends. Eating meals with your family is so important; research has found that when families eat meals together, they raise happier, healthier, more successful children. Students: This year from November 14, 2011-January 2, 2012 you will get the opportunity to host and submit your very own cooking show! All you have to do is present a nutritious recipe through a video cooking demonstration or a written recipe with photos of the final product. Consider using the Fuel Up to Play 60 Recipe Contest Play at your school or the new Creative Cooking Play to help you with your Challenge entry. The recipes may be a main dish for breakfast or lunch, side dish, or a snack. Be sure to submit your Cooking Show Challenge entry on-line for a chance to win a visit from a NFL football player!
